The goal of development is to improve people's lives. In the past five years, Xinzheng has invested a total of 39.4 billion yuan into enhancing public welfare programs, 2.3 times that of the "12^thFive-Year Plan" period. The per capita disposable income of urban and rural residents has increased by 10,056 yuan and 7,765 yuan respectively since 2015, and the urban-rural income ratio has decreased from 1.56:1 in 2015 to 1.48:1 in 2020. A total of 155 primary schools, secondary schools and kindergartens have been built, renovated and expanded, providing an additional 102,000 seats for enrollment, with record-high investment into expanding the scale of education. The Public People's Hospital of Xinzheng has also opened for service. Passenger vehicles with Henan A-series license plates registered in Xinzheng may drive toll free on expressways within Zhengzhou. The government's efforts for the public good have won widespread praise from the public.

發(fā)展的目的是改善民生。過去五年，新鄭市累計投入民生資金394億元，是“十二五”時期的2.3倍。城鎮(zhèn)和農(nóng)村居民人均可支配收入分別比2015年凈增10056元、7765元，城鄉(xiāng)居民收入比由2015年的1.56∶1縮小到2020年的1.48∶1。新建、改擴建中小學及幼兒園155所，新增優(yōu)質(zhì)學位10.2萬個，投入力度、新增規(guī)模創(chuàng)新鄭教育發(fā)展史最高紀錄。投入運營市公立人民醫(yī)院，新鄭豫A牌照小客車在鄭州范圍內(nèi)高速公路通行實現(xiàn)政府買單、個人免費，一大批為民實事贏得群眾廣泛贊譽。

The livelihood improvement has also improved the social culture. Up to now, there are more than 50,000 volunteers and 285 civilized units, townships, villages and schools in Xinzheng City. With all its townships being rated civilized at the city level, Xinzheng was nominated as the first-place National Civilized City (county-level) in Henan Province.
