主要職責(zé):

Product Manager –Shanghai
Department Overview: The Product Development team ensures that Google has
the best worldwide product offerings by analyzing, positioning, packaging,
and promoting our solutions across a variety of countries and markets where
Google does business. The team is responsible for the product throughout the
execution cycle, and works closely with the engineering group to
continuously improve systems, processes, and production.

Major functions:
*Initiate new products and product enhancements to meet existing or
anticipated market needs
*Determine product specifications and document in a Product
Requirements Document (PRD)
*Initiate and prioritize projects within engineering; track product
development; develop product launch plans
*Engage closely with the engineering team to help determine the best
technical implementation methods as well as a reasonable execution schedule
*Work with a cross-functional internal team (e.g. sales, client
services, marketing, legal, etc.) to gather customer feedback and ensure
smooth and successful launches
*Establish short and long term product goals and strategies

Experience / Skills:
*Computer science degree or equivalent
*Demonstrated experience shipping products (concept to launch)
*Strong understanding of user needs in China and an innovative
history of addressing them
*Market knowledge of Internet-related industries
*Excellent organizational skills including the ability to build
effective working relationships

Graduate from Top Tier or Elite Universities, Computer Science Major
GPA >= 3.5 or average score >=85 (better with overseas education background)

Solid software engineering background (once worked as a software engineer in
early career stage)
Previous web product design and development experience
Innovative thinking and passion for internet products
Previous and current start-up experience is preferred.
